Love Saves The Day is a weekend-long celebration of underground music taking place in Bristol, a city steeped in musical history. The festival, which had it’s debut in 2012, combines the excitement of a city-centre event with the escapism and adventure of a weekend festival deep in the sticks. But most of all, pioneering music is at it’s core: it features the very best of Bristol’s thriving underground with emerging and innovative artists from across the globe, showcasing a huge variety of different genres and musical styles in one amazing space
Love Saves The Day aims to have a positive impact on its city; providing inspirational entertainment, keeping community at its heart, minimizing the environmental impacts and adding value to the local area wherever possible. It’s green initiatives for 2015 include a big focus on recycling, which will see a reduction in disposable plastics and reusable cups introduced at bars, a push to promote alternative transport methods like cycling and public transport, new ethical procurement policies which will govern its suppliers, and greater focus on efficient energy management. Its social initiatives will see greater support for young people in the area and relationships nurtured with local residents and businesses.
